Hi, I’m Karen Symons

I have been interested in art since 1995 which led to me starting my first business where I supplied hand-painted textile creations to tourism businesses across New Zealand, as well as teaching art at Elim Christian College from 2004-2017.

Since then I’ve completed a diploma in Creative Art in 2005 at the Learning Connexion Wellington, and then went on to complete a diploma in Creative Art Honours in 2018.

Since 2018 I have been running Karen Symons Art Academy (previously known as Karen Symons Art), where I’ve been sharing my passion and knowledge of art through private art classes.
